Born in Bassano del Grappa in 1981, Christian Boaro began to be passionate about fashion as a child following his grandmother, a seamstress who was the first to teach him the rudiments of tailoring and transmit her passion. In 2000 he moved to Milan to start his studies, where in 2004 he graduated in Fashion Design at the Istituto Marangoni with full marks. In the same year he participates at the international competition for young talents ITS, as the only Italian finalist, getting noticed by many insiders.
During his long career he had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most influencial Italian and international fashion houses. For several years, he has also worked as a teacher, transmitting his passion to the new generations of designers.
In 2018 he inaugurated his first Polaroid photographic exhibition “The Naked Truth” at PlasMA gallery in Milan, where he investigates beauty through a narration made up of real people.
In October 2020 he launches his CHB brand which, through a Manifesto, tells his personal vision of fashion and beauty in a contemporary key. The aesthetic of the brand comes from a constant search on the duality between the male and female wardrobe, in the contrast between strength and fragility.
Everything is translated through garments with simple lines and materials that are part of the classic archetypes: from men’s tailored fabrics to more feminine ones, legacy of a more couture world. A story about timeless beauty embracing uniqueness and individuality.
